The Prudential Business Unit’s role anticipates that of the PRA – to promote the stability of the UK financial system. It will achieve this by championing the safety and soundness of regulated firms, as well as managing insurance supervision which will seek to protect policy holders.
To deliver against these objectives, the PBU will need to have the right people in the right jobs. High performance, talented and motivated individuals capable of shaping and influencing policy, and delivering forward-looking, judgement-focused supervision.
